What is The Philly "I AM" Program

Philly “I AM” is a 6-week youth “earn while you learn” program hosted by SSmullen Enterprises LLC’s nonprofit which runs 3 days a week for six weeks during the spring and summer.

The Philly "I Am" Program focuses on Self Confidence & Entrepreneurship Skills for school aged students.

This program is completely FREE. Participating students can receive a stipend of up to $50 per week ($300 for the entire six-week program) for the work they complete during the program.  Throughout this experience, students will participate in hands-on interactive projects, field trips, and community building opportunities. 

Careers to be explored throughout this program include Fashion Design, Music and Arts, Sports and Technology, and much more. Students will have the opportunity to take tours of relevant industry locations and local businesses. They'll hear from Professionals and Entrepreneurs on how to achieve their goals. These activities will culminate with students completing a capstone project to showcase what they have learned throughout the program. The capstone project also helps students solidify their understanding of their own career goals so they can keep them in mind as they move into Jr. High and High School.
